Although known for the Nuremberg Trials, this Bavarian city has a stunning medieval core of cobbled streets and half-timbered buildings that wouldn’t look out of place in a fairy tale. Sitting above this is the castle, one of the most important in the Holy Roman Empire. Take the steep walk up here for fantastic old town views.
Hauptmarkt square in the old town is home to an unusual-looking church and a Gothic fountain, spectacularly lit during the annual Nuremberg Christmas markets. Selling everything from wooden toys to lebkuchen (gingerbread), these are widely considered the best Christmas markets in Germany.
Other attractions in Nuremberg (Nürnberg in German) include the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, the country’s largest museum of culture and art. Another highlight is the Heilig-Geist-Spital, a medieval hospital by the Pegnitz River.
A word must also be said about its relationship with Nazism. On the south-east corner are the immense Nazi Rally Grounds and Party Congress Hall, built in appropriately domineering fashion. The excellent Documentation Center here is a sensitive and unbiased portrayal of life under Hitler. It is also possible to visit the courtroom where the war trials were held.
Before leaving your Booking.com apartment, hotel or hostel to go to Nuremberg Airport, don’t forget to try the spicy local sausage!

Room was furnished with cheap furniture, for what we paid for the room, I have never felt this ripped off. The doorways were 6' 4" inches and I am 6' 6". Felt like they went to Frank Lloyd Wright to design the room..
I would not recommend this property.

Nuremberg is a lovely and very scenic little city.
Nuremberg is a lovely and very scenic little city. I took a thousand photos of memorable traditional sights. Everything is within walking distance and people are quite friendly in general. I discovered a great photo shop called FOTOMAX and will only buy my cameras from there now.
There is a sense of easy living and peace there.

Well-located and easy to find.
Well-located and easy to find. They have a restaurant on the ground floor which serves delicious food. Quiet and clean. The price per night was a little expensive but considering the Interzoo exhibition was a good deal.
No coffee or tea facilities sadly. Also, the lift was not working. Apart of that the staff was lovely.

It's a charming little city, with rich history and lovely churches. It is an hour outside of Munich, and there is an easily accessible train station to get there. I think it is worth visiting and a hidden gem of Bavaria.

A very beautiful city with excellent options for everyone:...
A very beautiful city with excellent options for everyone: long walks in the parks or on the river banks and beautiful bridges; historic sites, castle and interesting museums; beautiful streets and wonderful traditional houses; monuments and statues; nice shopping streets with low and high end shops and brands; lively restaurants and terraces with great food options. It really has everything you could want for a great holiday . Do not miss the castle, Dürer house, Germanisches nationalmuseum, Fembohaus. As well, take the train to Bamberg, a real jewel city, just 40 minutes away.
Staying for the weekend at Behringers City Hotel Nürnberg, a very pleasant experience.
The accomodation is very clean, the host is nice and always smiling, the breakfast was perfect for the whole family: 3 adults and 1 child (4 years old).
Also, Behringers Hotel is very close to tram 8 , a great ride to the City Centre (a 30 minutes walk) , Main Train Station and it is a great connection with other buses (destination Zoo) and trains (destination - airport, Playmobil Fun-Park, etc).
We highly recommend Behringers Hotel.
This was our first time staying at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are comfortable and cozy and it was very clean and quiet during our stay. There was also free coffee, tea and water in the room. The hotel staff is very friendly, they helped with all questions, and allowed us to leave our luggage for free. The Old Town can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. We will be happy to stay again!
The hotel is conveniently located just a few steps away from the city's central railways station in what appeared to be a quiet neighborhood.. The Old Town is at a walking distance (5 minutes). The superior room I booked was spacious and cosy. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast (there's a wide choice to any taste) and the SPA on the 9th floor, where you can have a beautiful view of the city's skyline.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.Great location with an easy walk into the old town. The tram and train close by for travel to other areas of the city.
The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. Our room was kept lovely and warm, with adjustable heater, on a winters night.Would definitely stay again.
Excellent location at the top of the old town and near a tram stop, the best evening bars were at the top of the old town. Clean rooms and nice free snack cakes at the reception. Very good value as well. Fridge and safe in the room. Supermarket is 5 mins walk from the hotel and my tip would be to ask for a kettle and then pop to the supermarket for teabags and milk!
- very close to old city, but in quiet neighborhood,
- lot of nice places around to eat, way cheaper than in the city centre,
- big room,
- kinda comfortable beds
- quickly check out, receptionists was really nice (blonde hair),
- water to drink, towels, shower gel available
I recommend to use Max parking spot, it's 6.50 EUR per 24h, half cheaper than in the hotel
We have stayed in a few Adina Aparthotels in Germany and this one is our favorite. The staff at the reception was very helpful when we did our check-in. The location is good and we could get around in Nurnberg conveniently. We booked a room with a washing machine and there are also laundry detergents provided. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. The location was perfect - close to old town, the Documentation center, the Hall of Justice and many other things. They also offered day trips from the hotel. The staff was very helpful in knowing what tram lines to take if you wanted to take public transportation.
Good location directly in centre town, good size room, modern interior. Most of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel provided parking tickets for the parking garage nearby for a reduced price.
Shops, town attractions, market stands, restaurants, and the charming old city centre itself are all within walking distance.
Wer travel through Germany a lot. Most hotels are not really remarkable. This one definitely is!
Staying from a free welcome drink, a free cold drink for the room to the very good breakfast and super friendly staff I can really say this hotel will be on our "best" list ! Wonderful job! And yes the rooms were great, too.
Nice clean room, and not too small. The location is very good, 3 minutes walk from the train station, and the neighborhood is very safe and pleasant. The hotel is in the Old Town and most things to see are within 5 to 15 minutes walk. Will certainly stay again. C
Really good hotel - great 14 floor bar and 13 floor breakfast. Right next to the train station and tubes. Great to get to the Messe for work as just a few steps to the underground. Old town opposite for bars and restaurants
Clean room and good size for Europe. The hotel location is very close to metro, just a few steps from the old town; central train station is only two metro stops away, also it is close to Messe. Breakfast variety is good.
I love this hotel and always stay here when in Nuremberg. A nice walk through Old Town from the railroad station to reach the hotel. Central location. Excellent breakfast and dining room.
NIce hotel right at the entrance of the old town and next to the train station. Late check out was available , thankful for that. Earlier check in was also great.
beautiful hotel, very clean, confortable rooms, 10 min walk from the old town and the main attractions, the breakfast is excellent all home- made products
